Sending us your fleece

Please don't send fleece to the mill without a booking

Apologies for repeating ourselves, but we have a waiting list of over a year and limited storage space, so please contact us to make a booking first.

Any new customers booking a processing slot for 10kg or more will be asked to fill out a booking form and for a deposit of £10.00 per kg. This will be deducted from your invoice for fleece processing when your order is complete, but is non-refundable in the event of cancellation.

Please send your fleece to us a couple of weeks before your processing date – we’ll send you a reminder if necessary. Put the fleece into a plastic bag inside a box or strong bag (stuff it in as much as you can – it won’t come to any harm for a short time: some people use vacuum bags, which work very well and we will of course return to you) and send it via post, Parcelforce or any other courier to:

You're also very welcome to bring your fleece to the mill in person, which gives us the chance to discuss what you'd like us to make. Please call or email to make an appointment - we're almost always here, but it's just possible that we might be away at a show (or even possibly have a holiday one of these days...). NB: we sometimes have a lot of dogs at the mill (eight is our record to date) - all very friendly but a bit big and bouncy!
