Shipping and Returns

Delivery can be to any address as long the address at which your payment card is registered is also present on your order. All deliveries must be signed for (except items sent by post and which are small enough to be put through your letterbox). Please make sure you keep the receipt enclosed with your goods.

All delivery timescales are subject to product and delivery slot availability. Deliveries outside of the UK will be sent by Air Mail or Parcelforce Worldwide.

Whilst every reasonable effort shall be made to keep to any delivery date, time of delivery shall not be of the essence and The Border Mill Ltd. shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages or expenses incurred by the customer or any other person or company arising directly or indirectly out of any failure to meet any estimated delivery date. The risk in the goods shall pass from the company to the customer upon delivery of such goods to the customer.

Postage

You will only pay one delivery charge per order. When you have added items to your shopping basket, the standard delivery charge for those products will be automatically applied to your order.

Delivery is charged at £5 per order for delivery to the UK.

For delivery to Europe, Canada and the USA a flat rate of £10 applies.

All prices are inclusive of tax.

Force Majeure

The Border Mill Ltd. shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond its reasonable control.

Returns

Faulty goods may be returned and will be replaced. Goods are classified as faulty if they are received damaged. Please note that our yarns are a natural product and there will be some variation in the yarn. Items that are damaged as a result of wear and tear are not considered to be faulty. If you need to return a product you have 28 working days to do so. The returned goods must be in their original, unused state and any goods or accessories that accompany the returned product must also come back to us. Please post returns to:

Cancellation of orders

We will start processing your order the day after we receive your order details. If you’ve ordered something by mistake and you want to change it or you want to cancel your order you will need to email us straight away or give us a call on 07952 264917 (John) or 07950 563433 (Juliet).  If we have started work on your order, we reserve the right to charge for any costs incurred.
